Lesson and Tuition

This studio offers weekly piano lessons of 30 and 45 minutes.  A variety of techniques and methods are used to aid in the development of a well rounded musician.   Focus will be on sight reading, ear training, note reading, music theory and technique.  Some composition and improvisation will be added as needed.  Music games and activities provide variety and an element of fun to learning and are used during group lessons. Students will also have opportunities to perform in recitals, concerts, and festivals if they choose.

As a benefit of being a student of Langley Piano Studio, all students receive free memberships to Piano Marvel.

30 Minute Preschool Lesson   $100/month*

Preschool children will be given a 30 minute lesson using games, singing, clapping and movement.  Students will learn rhythm, artistry, dynamics, ear training and note names.

45 Minute Private Lesson $120/month*
45 minute private lessons meet weekly* and are conducted under the constant instruction of the teacher . During these lessons, students will focus on theory, technique,  repertoire and other aspects of musicianship such as history, ear training, and sight reading. Students will have varied opportunities to work in the keyboard lab as needed.  Various methods are used depending on the student.

In House Private Lessons $120 + weekly travel fee"

If requested, I will come to your home for private instruction.  A charge of $.50 per mile to and from your home will be added each week.  Mileage will be figured from Google Maps. This is dependent upon time and availability.

*This monthly payment represents a percentage of total yearly tuition.   It does not change regardless of the actual number of lessons per month (excluding the months of June and July).  Tuition is based on 40 lessons per year, August through May.
